THE PLOT:
A typical mountain climbing exhibition gets kidnapped by their guides and is forced at gunpoint to search for kidnapped women.
Kidnapped by a creature of legend, a creature of myth, a creature that shouldn't exist but does. A Yeti.
Doctor Frank Parish doesn't believe that there is a woman raping monster ontop of that mountain and with his friends try
to stop what dubs as crazy people from leading them to their doom.
They discover that the creature is real and attempts to rescue to the girls, but the Yeti is a really bright boy, not!
As he causes a cave in, allowing Doctor Parish to capture him and return him for study. You can geuss the rest.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Why can't they make a great Yeti movie, THE ABONINABLE SNOWMAN, MANBEAST, SNOW BEAST, they all have their promblems that keeps
them from being great. But compared to Snow Creature they're all bloody Oscar material. The blaten bigotry of the white
people to the people who live in this country to whom they depend on to live, the butthead guides who also hate the white
people. All this crap gets in the way of the plot. It really ticks me off and I give this loser the NOOSE.
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree, why can't we all just get along in a monster movie? Anyway, let's talk about the monster for a minute. For that's
all the time you see it is a minute. 90% of the movie is the same stock footage, like we can't tell. He walks into the light,
then he walks out of the light, into the light, out of the light. Plus he looks more like a giant Teddy bear that's losing
his hair. Oh scary a giant half naked Teddy bear is walking into the light and walking backwards out of the light. This
is a complete waste of film and I'll be happy when we sell out copy and the day all copies are piled up and burned. I give
it THE NOOSE!
ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ CONCEPT (The idea of going up looking for a Yeti is always a good concept)
+ SEEN IT (We never have to see it again! YAY!!)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (+ MISSES):
- BIGOTRY (The white people hate the guides, the guides hate the white people. I'm surprised they didn't kill each other
and saved the Yeti the trouble)
- STOCKFOOTAGE (There is allot of stockfootage of the Yeti)
- YETI (The Yeti looks like a half naked Teddy Bear)
AND FIANLLY....
- REPEDITIVE (Stockfootage is bad enough, but it's the same shot over and over again. Like we're so stupid, we couldn't
tell)
