In the third and for obvious reasons the final installment of the original fly series a woman breaks out of a mental institution
to meet Martin Delambre. A quickie wedding later and she discovers that Martin and his father are continuing the experiments
his Grandfather started.
Okay, several things wrong with movie, let's go over them right now.
1, the obvious, what's with the dragnet for the girl? She had a nervous break down before a concert, she didn't murder
half of Boston. I think the Police dragnet was a bit harsh. She should have been able to leave on her own at any time.
2, The anti-science message. If every human listened to that "THERE ARE SOME THINGS MAN WAS NOT MEANT TO KNOW"
B.S. then the wheel would have never been invented. Let alone all the import discovers of mankind.
3, and most important of all. These are human beings and not animals. Disfigured by a teleporter experiment. That's
all, and a disfigured human is still a human. They wouldn't turn into mindless monsters just because half the face is gone.
4, lastly, the pace. I've seen funerals that were more exciting. The film starts in neutral and I didn't think it was
possible actually slows down.
All these factors is why Harry Spalding should be burned at the stake with every copy of this movie. If it wasn't part
of a three pact DVD box set, I'd burn it myself. I hope Harry Spalding's other writing credits are better but somehow I doubt
it. We both give the CURSE OF THE FLY, THE NOOSE and how I'd like to CURSE out, Harry Spalding right now.
