THE PLOT:
It's long since they proved that there is no Loch Ness Monster, but an Earthquake near the Loch causes a cave that have been
covered for millions of years to be re-opened. Releasing a giant creature, a giant flesh eating creature.
Now the legend has become real unfortunetly for local wildlife and fisherman. One man is determined to kill the creature
once and for all.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
First of all, if there is no Loch Ness monster before the quake. Then what the hell have all those people seen for hundreds
of years. Second, the monster swims around allot, surfaced once. Once, for a split freakin' second. That kind of dinosaur
can lift his head out of the water longer then that. What is it, a long neck sea going dinosaur ora shark. It acts more
like a bloody shark. Second and here comes the spoiler warning. Like "CROCODILE" from Thailand, they set up explosives
and boom. Then ending credits, what happened? Did they escape, did they die, did they get it? These are not questions the
viewer should have at the end of a movie, this is a movie. Not a bloody two parter to a TV show. These are the reasons I
give this watery Turkey THE NOOSE!
VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I believe in the Loch Ness Monster and I don't care what anyone says, I don't believe it when they said that picture was faked.
I believe that man to be a liar. After all, where's his proof, where's the fake now? Like they said the famous BIGFOOT
footage is a guy in the suit, okay. Produce the costume. As for the movie, saying it was a fable until that monster emerged
from the cave is stupid. How did it survive for millions of years in a cave? Sealed off from food, hello? This makes no
sense, for a better version. Check out LOCH NESS. It's a family movie, not a hardcore creature feature. But still it's
much much better this piece of dung floating on the water. I also give BENEATH LOCH NESS...THE NOOSE
ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ EFFECTS (The creature effects were somewhat impressive, what you saw of it, the stupid water was too murky)
+ CAST (It has a good cast.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (+ MISSES):
- EYEWITNESS ACCOUNT (If there was no Loch Ness Monster, what have people been seeing for hundreds of years)
- STORY (Making it a flesh eating monster just to make a creature feature was just wrong. There should have been two)
- DEAD ONE (The quake works, but they should have found a dead one, after the quake. The flesh eater would have killed
the fish eater)
- NO SURFACE SHOT (The creature has a long neck, but never surfaces more then a second. Is this a dinosaur or a shark?)
- ANTI-CLIMATIC (Movie endings should never leave you hanging, this isn't a 30's serial. We can't tune in next week to
find out.)
AND FINALLY.....
- BELIEF (If you believe in the existence of the real Loch Ness Monster, then skip this crapper and watch LOCH NESS)
