Okay, lame story about a bunch of crooks who robs an Army base then hijacks a plane with Father and daughter pilots. But
one leaps off the plane with the money and ends up in an old farms crawling with killer scarecrows. The other follow of course
and end up trapped in the farm house. Now, what's wrong with this movie, let's list it shall we?
1) CHARACTERS, horrible stupid and annoying characters that you wish would die just to shut them up.
2) SLOW, it takes like forever to get going to a point where you don't care anymore.
3) THE OTHER SHOE ENDING, that's right, the girl pilot and one of the crooks escape, get on the plane and take off. Happy
ending, right? Wrong, one of the scarecrows were on board and kills everyone, OF COURSE!
There was no need for a bad ending, they had it left open already, the farm was still there, the Scarecrows was still
there, I put the blame squarely on Richard Jefferies the writer who must feel that it's not a horror movie unless it has a
bad ending. There was some clever dialog and the tag line was cute and the scarecrow monsters were cool, but not enough to
save it. We both give SCARECROWS the NOOSE
