THE PLOT:
The swim team is on top of the world, the new untraceable steroid given to them has given them an unbeatable edge. But the
practice pound where they swim is full of leeches which love to have them for a light snack.
The steroid has an unexpected side-effect. The warning should read, "Side effects are mild and may include night
sweats, headaches and gigantism in anything that drinks your blood." That's right, the Leeches grow to monstreous size.
And the swim team is still on the menu. Unless they can find a way to stomp them once and for all.
ZEDD'S OPINION:
Here's the rub, it stinks. I mean it, the characters were wooden and unpleasant, the acting as okay, not great. The Leeches
looked impressive, I'll give them that. Except they were either hand puppets or pulled along by a string. Which worked for
THE TINGLER, but it is 2003 not 1960. Effects have gone further then string and cheaper. The Producer just wanted to pinch
pennies. Slopping effects, writing and acting. This movie was just slopped together and I give it THE NOOSE!

VOLTRON'S OPINION:
I agree with Zedd, Leeches is a big waste of time. If you want to see an oversized bloodsucker, take a look at the director.
Anyway, ATTACK OF THE GIANT LEECHES may have been flawed but it was bloody Oscar material compared to this crapper. Let's
talk endings a second, it turns out the Nerd that made the untracealbe steroids did to make the Leeches grow, he only killed
them because they attacked prematurally. So our hero was the villain. That's a bad way to leave a movie open and a dumb twist.
It sucks and I give LEECHES! THE NOOSE!

ON THE POSTIVE SIDE (+ HITS):
+ LEECH DESIGN (Looked allot like leeches, then they weren't moving.)
ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE (+ MISSES):
- CHARACTERS (Two dimnetional would be an improvement!)
- LEECH MOVEMENT (It was quite obvious the Leeches were on strings.)
- DIALOG (The Dialog was very weak.)
- MAKE-UP EFFECTS (The Leech wounds didn't make what the little mouths looked like.)
AND FINALLY...
- CLIMAX (Our hero did it on purpose, that's not right.)
